Monday 3rd March 2025
We ripped this song apart bit by bit. we started off with finding the tone for guitar and bass with was a crunchy overdrive to match the grungy tone. Once that was done we went onto the strumming pattern for rhythm guitar. then there was the arrangement/structure we ripped the song apart to find out the the structure

Thursday 6th March 2025
I don't have any footage from this day\rehearsal but we started on stripping down the song and learning the first verse and chorus but we decided that we wanted to change the song as we thought it did not fit what we were looking for. this was because she didn't think she could sing in the right key we also thought it was empty and did not have the fullness we were looking for the song.
Monday 10th March 2025
This is the song we decided to replace stubborn love, Josh taught me the chords to and the arrangement/structure and the techniques used for the song high and dry by Radiohead . I listened to the song through my headphones and practised bit by bit to learn my part. I picked this song because it tests my ability to use a range of different skills and techniques that I do not use very often. including hammer on and pull offs. also using a variety of strumming patterns. we have turned this into a bare song with just acoustic guitar and vocals.
I don't have any video evidence for this as on this day my singer decided not to do the song. We worked around this by employing other people to join the band. i had already learnt most of this song previously but we only did up to the chorus as we needed to work on all our own bits .
Thursday 13th march
Monday 17th march
On this day i got asked to be in wildflower by Billie Eilish as they did not have anyone to play guitar which i agreed to do.I broke down the structure of the song and listened to the timings and worked out what goes were. in the end i went home and looked up the arrangement of the song.
Thursday 20th march
Originally i did this song stripped back and acoustic but on this video we decided to add bass and drums as well as guitar and vocals. this was are first run through as a band so we had to figure out were we all fit in and when we started to play and come in.
This was the last reaharsal we did for this day. Evie came in to show shopie were the vocal stabs were and we hqd a group convisation after this and we relised we needed to go home and practise our indervidual bit as we were all struggerling with the timings and when each part came in.
Monday 24th march
On this session i rehearsed with evie to figure out the strumming pattern and find out the flaws. I fumbled quite a bit in this as my mind went blank to what i was supposed to be doing guitar was as the strumming pattern changes throughout the song and what the structure of the song as the strumming pattern changes throughout the song.
This was the same session but in this video we listened to the song and found out what bits i was fumbling on so that i could carry on learning and perfecting the song.
this was the first reaharsal we did for high and dry so there was only a couple of run throughs and at the end we listioned to the song all tiugether to find eachotheras parts.
Thursday 27th march
In this reaharsal we tried to work on the timings and vocal stabs the main problem was i kept speeding up to try and match sophie wich then threw everyone off so we decided we needed to work on the vocal stabs and make sure the lyrics were on the right strum/chord.
This is the mock performance from later that day. we added jess on keys to make everything more full and come together i think the bass notes were a bit off which we will have to work on i also sped up in certain bits which i personally need to work on. at the end of this performance we decided that we are gonna cut the outro out and finish on the last lyric after the bridge.
